A Light Shower

In a shower of light
Here, dripping clarity, coolly bright;
There, velvet-shrouded, monstrously;
Rain scars brilliant razor slashes
Against cold clouded haze
He stands centre stage
Draws a hemisphere
Declares himself existing
Severs the world, flexing arms
Stares at the rainbow distilled
From the all-coloured grey mud behind
As the hooded cameos stride home
