Disease

Looking through a keyhole I see my lips
puckered and moist as they fishlike wave
smacking and sucking as the tongue licks round
droplets of fluid run along the surface, drips
down the out of sight chin, imagine it
stretching to the floor, dribbling elastic
as it flows in a linear translucent. Elongation tips
the balance of the strands as slowly starts to land,
splashing invisibly, as the mouth keeps motion,
pulls back to reveal the gums, teeth decayed,
a pink devastation, rotten and frayed, retribution stayed
the eyes turn away from this gangrenous vision,
weeping with disgust, brimming the mental incision
that a such a creature might reside within.
My lips, there the horror, as the scream rips forth
exhaling from the heart as it fires up the throat
gurgling and merging with the pain of the face
A tortured and twisted expanse of a space.
