Our Immortal.

The caress you give
My immortal will live
Between the cracks
That separates our beings…
One day a star
Will bring us back together
By closing the gap
That pulls us apart.
Maybe my immortality
Will make sense
Of our love that
Keeps the end of the strings
Tied together.
My hand is slipping
Out of your grip
Hold me tighter
And I will live.
Between you and me
Our love is what keeps us together
Because you and I are friends
Forever.
But now we are slipping apart
After that decision
Of being together.
Forever.
It doesn’t make sense in my head
But with our immortal…
Nothing will ever
Make sense between the two
Of us.
We are like two song birds;
We are together for all eternity
Until a bug starts biting my wings…
Then I get mad, and you get mad…
And we never see eachother again.
Our Immortal. Strong.
