Like a dull pain forever there; you come to me, stronger, in
despair
You come to exist only because I came to you, this is true
But in between is where the twisting blade turns slowly
Weakening me purposefully, subtly, until I'm Lowly
Relentless in my thoughts and intentions, reality duly broken -
nightly
The soothing, gentle, comforting weed that's should never be taken
lightly.
So then, what can do done? For destiny will surely forge it?
Will I force it? Contort it? Last resort it?.. Abort it?
Questions into Air&;#8230;. Never answered.
The vacuum left gets filled with despair
But I don't care
Not now&;#8230;.. not anymore
What ever should have happened, should have happened before
To look back with regret now is surely wrong
Far better to move forwards - try and sing a new song.
One that requires good music, not a joint a beer or a bong..
Memory is now fading and reflexes are.. too slow!
I am getting despondent, "where is it going to go?"
I am going to rectify the damage!
I am going to change!
But is the future changeable?
Is it something I could manage?
- Mine to re-arrange?
If I get a punch bag .. will I punch it?
Willing my fists into an explosion.. perhaps release some Rage?
Will I stick to my studies, when reading will I get past the first
page?
Motivation is required, and for this I need a free mind.
Not a jumbled set of neurons, like in mine, I think you'll find.
Discipline for the disciple the aim, to train my brain.
To keep on learning from the past, turning it to passion, instead of
pain.
So to conclude we need action&;#8230;. We need to DO
My friend it is time for us to take a radical route.. a new view
The future is un-knowable; we can only inspect the past
If this indeed influences whats to come, then actions should be
fast
They should last
Steadfast
Resilient
Moulded into a new cast
There can be no shortcuts - no easy redemptions
For this is to fail - excuses the deception of good intentions
Er&;#8230; with.. the ..obvious exceptions
And your own perceptions
&;#8230;on closer inspections
