If the world were flat would gravity still hold us down?
If the sky were pink would the sun still be yellow?
If water were not always wet would we still drink it?
If bananas were suddenly blue would we still eat them?

If living were not mandatory would we still commit suicide?
If losers were winners would we still have competitive sports?
If words held no meanings would we still communicate?
If smoking were good for us would we stop doing it?

If air could be bottled would we pay to breathe it?
If doing right were wrong would we still break the law?
If white were black would we still cling on to prejudice?
If boredom were fun would we watch the grass grow?

If love were a crime would we still insist on creating children?
If up were down and left were right would we still get lost?
If etiquette did not exist would we still be insensitive?
If there were no deadlines would work be handed in on time?

If the world were back to front would we do everything upside down?
