You will find me

You will find me.
In the cold grey halls,
Down the broken stairs,
Through the empty rooms
Full of deserted desks.
This is your prison.
This is your lonely cell.
Staring, Dead, Hateful glares.
Gaping mouths overflowing
With hot burning acid that
Stings through your very soul.
They have forged your cage
They are your binding shackles.
By the bubbling river,
Sheltered in a cradle of green
Branches and dreamy whispers
Floating on a warm breeze.
This is where you will find your freedom.
This is where you will find me.
When the sun parts the sky
With her golden gaze of warming
Love and brushes your cheek
With her soothing smile,
That is when you will find your freedom.
That is when you will find me.
As you spread your once broken
Wings and soar above the clouds,
In the stillness that enfolds you
You will be set free,
You will find yourself.
And you will find that I have always loved you.
