Manufactured thought control

Where do thoughts come from?
Do WE make them?
How can WE make them?
Are they spontaneous?
Are they manufactured over a long period of time?
Can WE destroy them?
Do they help?
Do they destroy us?
Do they define insanity?
Do the sane need thoughts?
Surely sanity is the need for thought !
