The glimpses of our love,
Lie In moonbeams,
Dreams
That cannot be foretold
Or repeated.
All is a whisper,
A shaddow of glitter,
And I wait
Alone,
Within these balconied streets,
In this city by the river,
For a glowing morn.
The glimpses of our love
Hang from moonbeams
Ready to await the mouth that feeds...
Glimpses,
As old as the first dawn
(Our first dawn).
All is a whisper
A shadow of glitter,
A smiling sunrise,
Or a fading sunset.
All is a whisper,
And I wait,
In my city by the river,
For a glowing morn.
Glimpses...
As old as the first dawn,
Shards of light that fall,
Splintering the present
In hope for tomorrow.
