The Art or the Riddle

An unfinished manuscript of JLB sold at Sotheby's had a strange
apothegm: " Who ever finds the riddle of the sphinx will be in
communion with the neoteric: Sphinxcelescoup. Once found, the art of
memory will confiscate the literature of imaginations through history
of the image and awaken the reader to the spell of literariness called
Sphinxeslque. In the end of the manuscript Borges writes, "I was so
fascinated by the Sphinx that I hardly wrote its meaning: to riddle."
