British Knights

Down goes the glowing sun,
as hoofs shatter the still silence.
Dazzling armour and devil-toothed swords,
The British knights ride again.
Searches the blood-thirsty eye of a Celt
foe among the endless woods of the alien state,
He hears the horn telling hostiles approaching,
as the British knights ride again.
Beasts and birds hide away,
as Britons and Celts collide.
Silent Elms shake their leaves,
as British knights die in the battle fray.
Yet no blood falls on the ground
and no sword lies abondoned,
For there are neither Britons nor Celts,
yet their spirits fight again.
