I didn’t think you would’ve listened

I didn’t think you would’ve listened
So I layed low and kept myself hidden.
Underneath the door frame,
Brings out a shadow from where you once came.
Crawling up the wooden panels
Consuming the room through mystical channels
Cascading my skin like the rain
Feeding your emotions through my brain.
I didn’t think you would’ve listened,
so I thought I remained hidden.
I heard your echos through the walls,
As if you were roaming these very halls.
Some voices that sting some words that bruise.
But this isn’t the voice that remind me of you.
I didn’t think you would’ve listened,
When you unveiled yourself from being hidden.
Sometimes the truth isn’t what you want to hear.
Messages streaming from the radio but the reception was unclear.
As you risen from the shadows,
Reigns on a beat that bellows.
