Clouds

Why
do the clouds look so stormy today?

they're
all white but they full of colour I have to say

they
may look white

but shades of gray and blue mix in

making
pictures in the sky

that
make my eyes wonder why

as
I look at them as they sail on by

they're
creating pictures before my eyes

of a fluffy poodle in the sky

and of

two lovers kissing in the sky

I see the dark shades of grey and the light ones too

and the wind move them along on the spring afternoon

and then a bit of blue mangers to break through

as the wind

turn them into

cotton wool balls

on
a

spring
afternoon

and
now I see a mushroom in the sky

how beautiful and simple

it can be

as I sit and watch clouds go by

and see all the different pictures in my eyes

and
now the clouds

are
almost gone

and
they gently swaying in the sky

a
simple and pure thing to do

that's a free thing to do

so next time you see a cloud going by

just think of it as cotton wool

in the sky

floating by
