Dawn Experience
I sit alone on a cliff, overlooking the sea.
The regular pounding of the waves dissipating the lull that I know
should otherwise be apparent.
The early morning's twilight is subsiding as I wait patiently for the
dawn.
The waves - heartbeat of the ocean, continue relentlessly, yet soothe
my troubled mind.
Gradually soft colors begin to creep into the sky. My heart and energy
rises and swells with the colors and the ocean.
I am alive.
I am home.
Over time, the twilight fades and the colors intensify as if some mad
deity has run riot, painting the sky with joy and abandon.
This is nature at its most raw, passionate moment.
I love it.
The sun blossoms into life, radiant and uplifting.
It's soft rays warm me and chase away the remaining cold of the dark
hours.
I am blessed by the light of a new day.
Eternally young.
