A 5 dollar Big Mac. Would you like to super-size your meal Ma'am ? Would you like to be super-sized ?
The superbowl ? A distraction from what's really going on ?
An education worth more than the roof above your head ? Is it legit ?
A grading system that determines your worth in life.
An athletic trend to sell you products than you don't need.
A shoe worth 10 dollars, sold for 500.
An Iphone with a personal assistant, Ispy and sell your personal information.
Sacrifice the most precious thing to you and become a name that advertises our ideology and dominance.
The Broadway of broken dreams and soon to be adult film industry property.
The filth of prostitution and drug addiction fills the air like the smell of mistletoe on christmas morning.
A city built upon the rotten corpses and shattered lives of the people before us. The basic civilizations that roamed before us.
A screen that controls our lives.
A camera became our memory keeper.
A population so blinded by what they want, they fail to see what they need to survive.
A product pusher turned devil's advocate.
When we open ours eyes we see the blindings lights, the architectural beauty of the skyscrapers, we taste the electricfying pints of red bull and coffee, take a selfie with the statue of liberty and buy what we don't need with money we don't have.
When we open our minds we see the plague that turned our populations into screen addicted zombies, our youth into an addicted mass of weakness and sin, our streets into a capitalist-friendly carnaval of agony, a musician that died ofan overdose into an idol.
What we see is not what we know, and what we know is never as it seems in Billboard City.
