Unemployed

Unemployed.

It seems that jobs are scarce these days,
Especially for the young,
No matter where they try to turn,
They're on the bottom rung.

If we could just be given the chance,
To prove that we can do it,
Our self-esteem would reach a peak,
And we wouldn't think we blew it.

So employers if you're out there,
Don't look the other way,
Just trust that we can do it,
And give us meaning to our day.
