A Friend At Last

I ducked round the corner and behind he desk, it was covered in dust
and cobwebs, it was obvious that this house had been abandoned for
quite some time. The stairs began to creak and squeak, whatever had
been making the noise was coming up. I took the clip out of the 45 and
checked it was fully loaded, slotting the clip back in making as little
noise as I could I readied myself for whoever or more accurately
whatever was coming towards me. My breath began to come in ragged
breaths as the adrenalin began to pump through my body. I could hear
the groan of the floorboards get louder and louder. With one last gulp
and summoning all my courage I leapt from my hiding place, my gun
raised to deal death to whatever foul creatures had emerged from the
bowls of this god forsaken house, however I was pleasantly
surprised.
"Don't shoot, don't shoot, I'm not one of them!"
A young women in her early twenties I would have guessed, with short
blonde haired, which framed the face of an angel, as I stared into her
big green eyes I thought I could get lost in them for an eternity.
However I was brought back down the earth.
"Why are you staring at me like that?"
"Oh sorry...ummm I just didn't expect to meet anyone, well not anyone
alive that is."
"Common we better get going, do you know if there are any guns in the
house, all I have been able to find is this 45, and this combat
knife."
"There should be, I've been looking around and it seems whoever this
house belonged to before these creature desided to make it there home
was a big fan of hunting. Common we better stick together."
With that she turned and began to walk down the hall. I had to admit
she had a nice ass, maybe the day wasn't going to be so bad after
all.
