Phenomenon

Love can have strange &; twisted ways,
Leaving our memories in a daze.
However it is the greatest gift of all,
That feeling of elation, of rise &; fall.
No words can describe it but one thing is true
Love makes actions we don't normally do.
But if love's power is not returned,
The emotions are strained &; often burned
Then love melts like salt upon ice,
Our hearts sink &; are slowly diced.
By the returned hatred from the unwanted love,
Then this feeling starts like a gift from above.
