A Jungian Slip: definition
Amid a London particular
In search of the archetypes,
A dream conscious state recalls
Collective associations of a misplaced ritual.
Mist and darkness out of place;
The emergent enigma of forgotten relations
Where light heralds welcome on the foggy playground
In pursuit of the punishing figure of Freud. Abandoned
In favour of the lamp-lit aura of swing-play.
Childlike interactions that smack back
Recall the tirade, the trials of an intellectual cover-up.
Very fetching, a march to corporeal ensues,
Issues a reprimand to those dislocations,
Those moments when? we don't let slip
Into the depths of common sense. I deny the prevalence
To put myself forward as abusive and bad.
A London Particular: analysis
Sleep as deep as a Jungian slip
Dreamy as a chocolate whip
Cruising winsomely, as a ghost
Over my id's over-cast field
Through the cinematic mist
Shadows became from trees
The more revealing entities
On a church green corner
As Juvenile foxes
Scrapped for my stillness, unoticing
The drunk suit coming late wobbling
Down an un-bound street.
A slap in the face from an interpretive
Case of Freudian gambles
With his pen,
Writing against the wet
Approach of -deeper drift of- cold.
Other peekers-in through the glory
Of the bush, pink and share the nouse
Of this dear site, nodding and pandering
To gossip, never chancing to enter,
Passing by with a couched notion of morning.
