The four-legged kidney
Provides dialysis for a man
Whose excess emerges from a tube in the hand.
We tested a sample against other sufferers,
It was found lacking in certain elements.
Our diagnosis: an inflamed appendix,
A fever in the circulation
Would you like to be the new blood he needs?
Watch - he's searching with the right hand for
Water his left hand has hidden.
The window, that's his eye,
The same old moon, a pupil in the sky.
Will you provide a fresh pair of eyes?
Look how bruised and blackened he is,
As he listens to the glass voice in the corner,
And eats his own words for tea.
Will you help him find his voice?
I'll speak louder.
You seem to have gone deaf.
