Being you,
That would be a joy,
Not only the talent and the brains to succeed,
But the will and desire as well.

Being you,
I would have a new incite into the world,
One coloured more optimistically,
Not dulled and grey by disappointment and rejection.

Being you would be fun for me,
A chance for a change in the way you're viewed.
I would acknowledge the presence of others,
Accept their love,
Feel gracious for their friendship.

Me being you,
I would take the opportunities presented to me,
Not run nor shy away,
I would confront and dispute.

Me being you,
Well that just wouldn't work,
I'm me and you're you.
