Slowtime
Woke up again this morning,
Tried to open my eyes;
Had some excitement yawning,
Doesn't time just fly?
When it's yourself you're enjoying,
And there's fuck all else to enjoy.
Days move in like sleepy dust,
The sun through the window reminds me of rust.
Stay in bed, a giant head,
Know yourself from A to Z.
A dark dwarf star, a massive navel,
I think I'll go and lay the table.
Now that we've been introduced.
Now I know how the housewife feels,
When washing up's your biggest thrill.
Chasing dust around the floor,
I'm sure they told me there'd be more.
When they gave me the key, the key to the door,
The key to the door of the street.
