Housewife ditty

There was a jolly housewife,

As pleasant as could be.

She wasn't very pretty,

Just plane to you or me.

Her hair was always greasy,

Had a grey hair or two.

She always caught your sneezes,

But never got the flu.

She'd potter around all day,

Doing chores here and there.

And would rest once in a while

In her large floral green chair.
