My grandkids were visiting us in chicago last
winter. Living in Florida they were not used to the bitter cold.
On sunday morning we decided to go to Mcdonalds for breakfast, and to
play in the playroom.
After a mad dash for the car, we started the engine quickly. You could
hear teeth chattering from the back seat.
The light jackets they wore were not much help.
My husband was raceing the motor and wipeing frost from the inside
windows.
Turning the heater on much too soon hopeing for heat. As the cold air
blew out over us, orders came from the back seat, it was our seven year
old Beth---Pappaw you can turn the air off now, it's cold enough back
here.
