An obituary of my golden days

The golden days of my life spent at Lady Elle Duff Hostel quietly passed away on 12th April 1994 at Calcutta, India. They were just three years old at the time of death. Lady Elle Duff Hostel is around 150 years old and has been a 'home away from away' to many college students over the years. It has three brothers and no sister. My golden days resided there for three beautiful years. They were joyous, filled with the sounds of chattering voices, midnight feasts , late night chats , sounds of noisy feet and innocent pranks and not to mention a lot of ''caring and sharing'' In short they were days filled with sunshine. They also gave me some of the most cherished people in my life, my best friends who I consider to be my family. The golden days gave me independence, confidence and also made me more responsible at the same time. They passed away when I graduated from college. My golden days are survived by the golden days of other college students who presently reside at Lady Elle Duff Hostel. There will be no public funeral. My golden days were quietly buried in my memory and I will carry them in my heart always.
