"whats up?"

I reunited with a good friend of mine today. She's a year younger.

She has not change much,

the same person, the same heart

but stronger, more beautiful and with grace.

As I remember how much memories we shared,

I laughed at my past.

How my life was once a pain to me but now seen as a joke,

No, funnier than a clown can act,

Too many dramas, cant recall much but I remember it was crappy,

Now I'm here, looking at it,

Waved goodbye while I carry along the good memories

The bad ones, I learned so much I agreed,

No regrets, living life the way it should be.

My my, different people chose different paths,

"What's up? How have you been?" 

Oh the usual way to start a conversation,

Yet it brings a different feeling to answer them,

"Oh, I'm good" the simplest and easiest way just to reply to,

Beneath these thoughts in my head,

I'm glad that I chose the path I am walking now, though sometimes its harsh,

I'm happy, just happy,

The way it flows now.
