A man on a wire
Walking between two points
Held aloft in the past
A centre no longer there
Dancing on air
On the thinnest of cables
Trading breaths with the wind
The balance of the bar
An aid too the faultless footwork
laying down to rest above
The chasm of death
A joining of art and exposition
Demonstrating the macrocosm of a passionate soul
In the microcosm of a metropolis
The world contains more than mere function
towers made for trade
Also had an existential use
And existence

"Trading breathes with the wind" --i realy like this line (although, i think 'breathes' should be 'breaths') and the last stanza is excellent.
