Always in the way, snot nosed hive mind of annoying teenagers
Too young to couple off and rutt
Uncaring arrogant spouses your fellows tell you of , who love submarine movies more than you
Doddering old buggers, taking ten minutes to buy tinned vegetables
God I hope I never become like them
Rainy Monday afternoons
The absents of heat
The lack of someone to flirt with
The shearer mondayness of it
Thinking back to Friday in the park
Clear blue skies
My boney boy
The smile which, melts the ice of disappointed years
The gentle hug which calms his childhood fears
The impatient customer
The hours on the clock
The pain in my shoulder
The off colour joke, that gets me through the day
The greeting off an old friend
The burying of feelings
The sadness hiding smile
The hours and days I ve missed with my son
The hug where he buries himself deep in my shoulder
The days I want to skip
The hours that fill the void
The friends in the same situation
The worry about his future and the worry about weather I ll be part of it
