Tautology in science fiction

Fallout and  halo both have the same themes that says that rigid ideological systems always clash with one another

The key individuals in both stories who though experience can see Philosophical flaws  in the system and it's non practically can however have the ability to break free from the system to new ways of thinking and being. 
 

it's the hero's journey both have interesting things to say about neomedievalism which is the strong international current in our time especially in world economic forum's and with the event of the total Surveillance society
