Rugby is a funny game
Of fights and free-for-alls
Even funnier is each players aim
To acquire such odd-shaped balls

They'll bite and scratch thump and kick
Until the ball is won
They will explore each dirty trick
And say its all in fun

They have not won their spurs they say
Til removed upon a stretcher
And no man is allowed to play
Unless proved to be a lecher

The rough and tumble is okay
And each one has his laugh
Especially at the end of play
With thirty men all in one bath

And finally when the time is here
To go on a rugby tour
Its not always on the pitch I fear
That most of them will score

Their wives and lovers far behind
At home whilst they're away
The players will, I think you'll find
All get their wicked way

But you must not think so bad
Of all the things they do
Its just you think it oh so sad
Its not happening to you
