I can't decide to change my job
I can't borrow ten bob
I can't try to save my marriage
I can't avoid the modern barrage
I can't call my house my home
I can't afford a mobile phone
I can't seem to control my kids
I can't dodge the bloody skids
I can't claim my minds my own
I can't keep up with the Jones
I can't whisk my wife away
I can't strike for higher pay

I can't improve my health
But at least I can kill myself
