You don't like me and I don't like you

As you gaze across the room,
I get into perspective,
that I am right, and you are wrong -
And you should be corrected.
As our eyes meet, a deadly lock
hate waves echo round.
We can feel immense dislike
yet utter not a sound.
Our curses deep inside ourselves
are brought out to the air
they are spat into each other faces
but speak them we don't dare.
Apologies are short of hand
and certainly not from I -
will this single word be choked,
I think I'd rather die.
