1-D (Game Idea)
- 1-D is a one-dimensional abstract strategy game played over the numbers 1 to 12 in which pieces kill either by addition or subtraction.
- Killing opponent’s pieces– In order to kill one opponent’s piece a player must have their two pieces on numbers which either add up to the number that their opponents piece is on or, through subtraction, result in the number that their opponents piece is on ( For example, if one of your opponents pieces is on seven then you must have a piece on 4 and a piece on 3 because 4 plus 3 is 7 or a piece on 5 and piece on 2 because 5 plus 2 is 7 or a piece on 8 and a piece on 1 because 8 minus 1 is 7).
- Both players have two pieces, either A and B or X and Y. Their pieces can all move backwards and forwards a maximum of three moves at a time and a minimum of one; their pieces can also jump over each other
- Each piece has three lives and can be killed a maximum of three times before it is out of the game.
- The object of the game is to kill one of your opponent’s two pieces. A player cannot play with only one piece, if one of his pieces dies he loses the game altogether.
WAR and PEACE (Dice Game) -
1) Players have 1 ordinary Red six sided dice, and one white WAR and PEACE dice. Three of the sides on the WAR and PEACE dice have the word WAR on them and three of the sides have the word PEACE on them.
2) Players roll the ordinary six sided dice TWICE and, what ever number they roll, they divide up that number among three divisions, "Army", "Navy" and "Airforce", allocating some points to each.
3) Then they roll the War and Peace dice. If it says PEACE then they roll their ordinary dice again three times, building up their score and dividing it among their Army, Navy and Airforce again.
4) But if they roll the dice and it says WAR, they then compare their Army, Navy and Airforce scores.
5) The Army with the highest score wins; the Navy with the highest score wins and the Airforce with the highest score wins.
6) The player who wins with two out of three of their divisions wins the war.
