Esther, the Eager Easter Egg Eater (A Cautionary Tale)

Esther loved to eat Easter Eggs.

She’d eat them all day long.

Her mother warned her,

“Eating all those Easter Eggs is wrong.

You’ll turn into an Easter Egg,

Esther, if you go on”.

But though her mother pestered,

Esther just would not take heed;

she would eat kegs; hundreds of eggs

to satisfy her greed

and now poor Esther has no legs

‘cause her mother, she ignored.

She’s turned into an Easter egg

and just wobbles on the floor.
