The Rabbicken
The rabbicken’s half chicken; half rabbit;
it hops but it also clucks.
If you see one, reach out and grab it
and you will get good luck.
If you’ve been good then it will lay
an egg of brightest gold
but if you’ve been bad then all you’ll get
is a snowball white and cold.
The Easter Egg-stravaganza
The Easter Egg-stravaganza
is the party of the year;
girls wear gowns of bright organza
and daffodils in their hair.
There is music, games and dancing;
fireworks and so much fun,
then the Easter Bunny, prancing,
hands out eggs to everyone.
The Easter Bunny
The Easter Bunny is a Rabbit
who has a funny kind of habit.
With blurry pink and furry legs,
whizzing about, he gives out eggs.
It’s just ‘cause he loves giving joy
to every little girl and boy
and when his egg delivering’s done
he fly’s beyond the setting sun
to Easter Island far away
where happy bunnies laugh and play.
An-Egg-Gram Puzzle Poem
I’m doing an Easter Jigsaw
but I’m really quite a numpty.
Maybe you can work it out.
