2. Say for example 3 people put down an equal monetary stake. Then they take turns rolling a dice. The person who rolls the lowest loses and then the other two players divide up the money that the person has lost between them.
3. Thus you see, in this game there are always 2 winners and if there are always 2 winners then, in terms of probability, a persons chances of winning something, even if its only a little something, in the game are doubled.
4. Why would this game be appealing? - Because, if several rounds are played then the chances are that no one will go away from the game having won nothing.
