Jack Jones and the Mystery of the Lost Diamond

Once upon a time in a city called Freedom City,
a man called Jack Jones has joined the investigation team. Mr.Abbott, the captain of the investigation team in Freedom City, had been the captain of the investigation team for nearly 20 years and he has worked with Jack Jones' father.
He was always telling Jack that he will be as smart and wit as his father has been.
On the first day of Jack's work a thief known as the Masked Thief escaped a high security prison outside Freedom City. He has sought to go and spread horror in the hearts of the citizens of Freedom City, But he hasn't found out about Jack Jones the son of his old enemy, the man who the Masked Thief has taken away the life of his parents, and the man who has revenge in his heart. Jack has been at least 12 when he watched his parents being murdered and since then Mr.Abbott has taken care of him.and ever since Jack was willing to protect the city from evil murderers and thieves like the Masked Killer.
"you look like your dad, Jack." All of his 5 teammates kept telling him that since the day he arrived except Adam, a man his age who considered Jack a threat to his career since the day Jack arrived. Jack was very glad to start this job. He was going to follow his fathers steps in this career, and he received news that made hatred jump on his heart on his second day. " we have been told that the Masked Thief has escaped the prison and he is on the run.
On his first few days Jack solved several cases, and that made Adam angry even more. one day a crime was reported from college campus in the western territory of Freedom City. it was reported by two student on campus, which were walking near the crime scene in the woods. The victim is a 20 year old female called Nicky Rodriguez. she had been stabbed in the chest. it appears that the suspect has stabbed her in lungs so she cant shout, then in the heart. And to Jack's dislike he was sent with Adam to investigate. when they arrived they worked each on his own until jack found a footprint behind the trees." It appears that the killer has hidden waiting for the victim." Said Adam. the murderer targeted the victim. Adam and Jack reported this to Mr.Abbott. the scientist in the lab has found some fingerprints on the body as well as some saliva. the fingerprints belonged to a student called Lilly Miller. A team was sent to arrest her.
A month later, the team has been invited to the grand opening of the First Freedom Museum. The main exhibition in the museum is the famous Green Emerald. The dinner was delicious and the party was interesting. " And now the mayor's speech." said the MC. While the mayor was reading his speech the lights went out, a few minutes later the lights went back and the famous Green Emerald was gone. The team searched the case and found some blood which belonged to one of the museum guards, and he was arrested. He was interrogated and he said that a he was paid by a known thief called Jimmy Nalped which has once stolen 100 million dollars from banks around Freedom City. Nalped is also a known accomplice of the Masked Killer. Their has been sightings of Nalped near an old bread factory. The team was sent to the factory for investigation. They were also armed in case Nalped the Masked Killer were over there. The factory was big, so the team separated. Jack went with Lily Abbott, the daughter of Mr.Abbott, and with Adam. They were sent to the third floor, where they found two sleeping bags and empty cans of beans,carrots, and peas. Jack found a pistol in one corner and a box of 22 LR bullets and an empty box next to it and in it he found the diamond he warned his two teammates that the suspects were armed. Jack went to another room he lent down over a water puddle and foot steps of two people were all over the room then...
" Well well well, it looks like the son will follow his father" Jack turned around just to find the person he sought to kill. The Masked Killer stood their holding a gun to Jack's head, and Nalped came out laughing and took Jack's gun."What a shame, you wanted to be the one holding the gun to my head, but dreams don't always come true." Just then Nalped fell to the floor, and Adam appeared behind him. The Masked Killer turned quickly, and everything went slow motion for Jack. He swiftly jumped infront of Adam and got shot in the arm. Adam was in a state of shock, so the Masked Killer jumped from the window and landed in the bushes, and he ran away.
Jack woke up under the light of the sun laying on a bed in the hospital his arm raped and aching. around him were his teammates asleep, all except Adam."Good you're awake, I wanted to thank you for saving my life back there."said Adam."This is what teammates do even if they have differences."Said Jack. Since then Jack and Adam were best friends for ever.
