Pain sweeps, flooding out hope
Despair creeps, clawing at my insides
Distance further between me and reality
And You glow, now there, my beacon
My shining.

Sunlight follows, rays of glory
Thanks in Your glories, the blinded miracles
Rejoice in your shadow, dancing, praising
Your face, still there, beaming
My soul.

Forgetting overwhelms, faceless icons
Miracles unnoticed, glories all forgotten
It's me and the world now, alone
But there I see it, remaining there
My steadfast.
