I saw you today.
My heart beat so loud i thought you would hear it.
You saw me too.
But we didn't talk, we never do.
You were with someone,
I didn't see her face.
But i knew.
I knew she had bigger and bluer eyes than mine.
Her hair was brighter, yellower, like sunshine.
While mine was more of a brown-blond.
I knew it stayed smooth throughout the day.
Mine tangled and went in all the wrong directions.
She wore all the clothes i could never pull off,
And they looked beautiful on her.
Yes, i didn't see her face, but she was beautiful, because she wasn't me.
