Mummy and Daddy

Daddy don't like Mummy
I wish that I knew why
One day when she was late with tea
He really made her cry

They thought I didn't see them
they thought I was in bed
But I was sitting on the top step
when he punched her in the head

Mummy didn't mean it
she didn't mean to make him mad
but whatever she seems to do
it always makes him sad

She wears glasses every day now
in the rain and in the snow
I think it hurts inside her head
but she always tells me no

Daddy don't like Mummy
he always makes her cry
I really hope that one day
my Mummy doesn't die
