The moments which lie
upon this page: reconfigured,
slender,
miniscule, disguised,
shaved perversely with cream;
hidden by an umbrella of words
as persons are apt to be who cradle
the feeling of
crinkled wetness a blouse
sustains,
(dribbles of drops, waves
o'er pages,
litters the sidewalk
where persons
shudder, run
while rain shushes/
slants/ twinkles
twisted, garrulous
plops).
There is someone who elegantly
kisses another,
next to a train station --
in love--
rhythms of goodbyes.
A more the rain falls
upon dyed rages -- a smoothened whiteness
disappears
with tears for fingers,
almost dry, in dire need
of a gentleman's hankerchief.
faces come
under needles of downing drips
doused,
drizzled out,
gossipy
hops of plops,
cracks,
hisses, expires.
