Interesting and evocative snapshot of life in Bulgaria. It sounds like it has plenty of character, and perhaps more variety or surprises than places that have been capitalist or western for longer?
Good piece. This is an appropriate way of looking at our response to climate change. Capitalism and the profit motive, and vested interests will surely have slowed down the changes we need to make.
I enjoyed the story and have now finished it. I am glad to see that justice was served! I feel it would make a great film, as you have supplied much of the visual description, which could be translated into a great moody film. As you say it was...
An awful realisation for John, that he is the victim of his wife and her boyfriend! I do hope there is something he can do about it, but its all a bit too late for John? Good story!
I instantly feel sorry for the character John, because of the manner of his death, and the nature of this purgatory/graveyard is certainly making me wonder what happens next! Certainly a good start.
I enjoyed your poem. Every time I read it it puts me in the mood for Halloween! It is interesting to read about the Celtic background to Halloween, which I had not appreciated before.
Great poem, showing the desperation, disappointment, and tragedy of those queueing or jostling outside the airport at Kabul. These are scenes that should not be happening, one way or another, a modern horror story. What went wrong? What could...

I also enjoyed this poem. You described the feeling/situation of strangers passing in the street very effectively, and in a moody way!

Good story, a bit sad, but very heartening in the end! Life goes on and our animals do need us!

A fitting memory of it. Watching a documentary about it again has reminded me of the extreme horror and extreme spectacle of it!
