It's been a year
since i last saw you,
and not a day gone by
have i not thought of you.
I just can't accept it
i can't accept your gone,
when just a year ago
we were playing in the sun.
We always used to sit
under the tree by the river
and watch the flowing water
go by, how the light used
to reflect on our faces,
your face looked so beautiful
when the light reflected apon it.
I don't know why i'm writing this
i can't exactly post it to you,
not where you are.
I just wish you were here again
so we could do all the things
we used to do, and so i can tell you,
finally gather the courage, to tell you
that i love you.

Very well put, but you and Beeme
so young such deep poems are they
true maybe that's idea of poet.
Sorry if wrong. I lost child
hood sweetheart in those days
from age of 6 -12. I heard later
in life with all his problems lived
right near me died in his 30's
there was something wrong! and
years later one parent went and then
other one, we used play cinemas, pic-nics
gooseberry picking and his parents all
opposite us where lived as children.
I gave him up when was 12.
Things not quite right.That's life
sometimes.
