Beyond the veils of illusory lies
Between the views of mortal eyes
Up above reality
Past logic and conformity
Follow nothing, shun belief
Close your eyes and wander free
Push through the pain
That feeds your fears
Centre yourself
Let your thoughts disappear
Find your worth outside the lines
Aging concepts cast aside
Disregarded rules and time
Beyond the dreams that draft your life
Find that place
To simply be
Embrace the truth
Because you're free.

Although, I do not agree
Although, I do not agree with the poem's philosophical underpinning, I love the succinct manner in which you stated your convictions. Without conformity you don't have freedom; you have an amorphous deformity. Individual parts that are not cogs in the great machine of life. They percieve individualism is freedom, but it is a vapid, bland statement of nothingness. No man liveth unto himself, and no man dieth unto himself.
