 You cut a chrysalis
just in case,
kept the carapace on you.
Tied a shoelace
around the neck,
the butterfly initials
you never knew
tattooed at the back.

            impossibly cool,
hindsight in your coat pocket.

thanks bee but I did really steal it from vera. I was going to say there's no such thing as theft, but then, action speaks louder than words, especially words that don't rhyme. Next, take over the running of the country.
