Skin deep in beauty,
followed by those crowds and the
photographers’ mob.
The beautiful hind
stops - strikes an armature pose -
is shot in volleys.
Alone with her smile,
the mausoleum behind
- so semiotic.
Under the bright neon
into the darkest tunnel
and hagiography.
There were just three in
that marriage, and millions more
watching the car crash.

I'm not a fan of the Family,
I'm not a fan of the Family, but I felt for her son, posing for 'that' picture. Choosing between the symbolism of doing it and the symbolism of not. Whatever the perks, I wouldn't fancy life as a signifier.
