Terminological Inexactitudes
By Rhiannonw

If facts are facts
not fiction for a faction,
they all have their place
in useful debate,
but counterfeited ‘facts’
are veritably ‘not-facts’,
‘post-factual’ inventions,
misinformation,
disinformation,
not alternative, additional,
uncertainty, confusion,
mistake, or slight exaggeration:
twisted-facts are fake,
and dialogue will shake and quake,
when statements are distortions,
contortions for deception
clouding our perception
of what really is
true,
and your left with
lying,
for
knowledge lies buried
mourned and dying:
But, wake up, shake up,
examine what you hear,
and also what you say
today.
[IP: Alternative Facts] (a misnomer phrase in itself?) (the fear today is of 'fake-news')
