Hi Can somebody advice me how to edit this story so that it fits in the margins? It is looking very messy as it appears on my screen :(

this is coming across the page, and hence am not able to read it. wonder if t was pasted...

when you copy and paste you've got three boxes you can paste text in from word. Those are on the icon bar (above). You've got, for example, in the first icon bar Bold, Itallics and Underscore. The text box is a few along from that. Try it out. You can't break anythng.

Sorry had to delete my story as the formating not right I had to copy and paste it from word document,

Ah - that's a shame. I'd come across a blank page here entitled 'The Lone Seaman' and thought it was a bit of clever concept art (blank page, open sea etc.). Maybe keep it that way and pretend that's what you intended all along!
