Fannying About!

Self-care is Good, I have been trying to do this.
Each morning, I have a whole orange, cut into fours, and have liquid cod liver oil, the Seven Seas brand. It is disgusting, hence the orange, ready to take, a second later!
I noticed it had gone up, drastically, so I decided I would stave off spending £15 for the next bottle, I would instead have less each day, than I was having, so that it would last me longer. I was hoping that by then, that there would be a special offer, like a buy one, get one free.
Eventually the last of the cod liver oil finished, and there were no special offers.
I looked around different stores, to see if there were cheaper Seven Seas, to buy, but there were none.
For a week or so, I had nothing in the morning, only the orange on its own. That is not self-care. While looking at a different cheaper shop, I noticed Seven Seas capsules. I don’t take tablets, if I can help it, but I thought, if I was unable to swallow it, I could chew it instead. I paid £7.50 for the jar.
My morning routine was not the same, I was unable to swallow it, so I had to bite the capsule with the nasty taste in my mouth, and with the crushed capsule still in my mouth, I then had to concentrate and swallow it, and then have the orange. This didn’t feel like, self-care. I have become a connoisseur of oranges ……. and cod liver oil. I tried the capsules for a few days, but then I had a brainwave, surly someone else must do cod liver oil liquid, other than Seven Seas, but to be honest, I don’t ever remember seeing cod live oil by anyone else.
Then I was in a large superstore, and decided to go to the over-the-counter section, to look for cod liver oil liquid, and there it was!! I was shocked, it was £7.50 I did wonder if it would taste just as bad as the Seven Seas? I was chuffed to bits, and gladly paid my money.
The next morning, I read what it said, “One teaspoon, and to refrigerate after opening.” That was new, I have never in my life, kept liquid cod liver oil in the fridge, it was always kept in the cupboard. So, in the fridge I would keep it.
I got ready to have my routine back again, but when I tasted it, it tasted nothing like cod liver oil, it just tasted like semi thick water! It had not smell, of cod liver oil either. I felt cheated and disappointed. I was now a connoisseur of cod liver oil liquid! My kids had it when they were little, so they would know what it tastes like, but should my kids, go on to have children, then this shop made one, they would think, this is what it should be like, but they would be wrong.
It was then I decided to stop, fannying about, and just buy the proper one, the liquid one for the pumped-up price of around £15, it is a lot of money, but it is Worth it.
I had paid £15 for two different cod live oils, that didn’t match up to my self-care routine.
When the liquid cheap one is finished, that is what I will buy it.
