In a sea of grass

In a sea of grass
In a sea of grass
Waves made by the fierce wind
Which suddenly subside
I hide
Where most can not easily see me
To be seen means danger
to run for my life
I am stillness
A rare moment of reflection
My limbs capable
out of the first flush of youth
I am still fleet of foot
Yet it is my mind which is in motion
nerves ready to respond to the slightest impulse
My senses could drown
But instead become ever keener
Like been reborn
Into a tranquil ocean
The elements envelope me
In the rapture of their motion
I am the stillness
In a world of motion

open in plain sight, right in front of you
Sometimes the hardest thing of all to see is open, in plain sight, right in front of you, but you cannot find it! I think your subconcious decieves you into believing it is impossible and you look all over, everywhere in the best hiding places instead.
This is very true, really it happens! Cheers! Tom Brown
