Teeth Tales – a Song For My Dentist

I feel sorry for my dentist
No-one likes him but his wife
No-one's ever pleased to see him
He has a lonely life.
If I need a tooth appointment
I try to put it off
I make up something urgent
Like the cat has got a cough.
If I see him in the High Street
I shut my mouth and lurk
He may see my teeth are wonky
And my molars need some work.
He's like the traffic wardens
We want them to go away
I guess there is a difference -
He's consoled with stellar pay.
He has two little children
Called Dennis and Natasha
Who both have perfect pearlies
And a scruffy dog called Gnasher.

Our very first entry I
Our very first entry I believe - well done Gloskat, and thank you so much for the donation too.
As this challenge will have a mystery judge deciding on gold, silver etc places, we won't be awarding any cherries at this point, but all entries will get one at the end.

Hello GlosKat for getting posting up the first toothy tale.
And, I do hope no dentists will suffer from toothache.

Fluff
He also has a bit of fluff
Her name is Saucy Suzy
So it’s not just the anaesthetic
That leaves him feeling woozy

Had a good chuckle at this
Had a good chuckle at this call for empathy for the dental profession. Great competition entry! Of course all dentists' dogs should be called Gnasher. It should be mandatory.
Thanks for posting this!
